Complaints Procedure regarding SEN provision

In the first instance, parents’ complaints about the provision or organisation of SEND are dealt with through the procedures outlined in the Concerns and Complaints Policy.

If there continues to be a disagreement with regard to the SEND provision, the Local Authority should make arrangements that include the appointment of independent persons, with a view to avoiding or resolving disagreements between the parents and the school. Parents have a right to appeal to a SEND tribunal at any stage.
