Part of the Prestbury St Mary's Federation, St. Mary’s C of E Infant School opened in the village of Prestbury in 1969, and is a two-form entry Voluntary Aided school.
We have a Reception Unit with two classrooms, a dedicated outside play area, and a large multi-activity room. In Key Stage 1 there are four spacious classrooms designed in pairs, and the whole school takes advantage of our hall, library area, music room and conservatory.
We currently have 180 children on roll, with a maximum capacity of 60 children in each Year Group. However, in September 2018 we will be admitting 90 children to our school due to demand in the area. This is being classed as a 'bulge' year, and will involve the construction of a new classroom in the school grounds, taklng the total number of classrooms to seven.
